But there's more to these pens than their obvious beauty. They're writing instruments unmatched for balance and writing quality. When I start with a select wood for the body of the pen, I have an idea about turning the wood so that it's smooth and consistent. But the carefully turned wood, antler, or other material isn’t quite enough to make this a quality tool for your home or office.

The plating materials and variety of pen clips add to the beauty and efficiency of the pen. I generally use such materials as 24kt gold, black enamel, copper, titanium and other attractive materials. Matching these to the exquisite wood not only enhances the appearance but also ensures that you'll have a sturdy, reliable pen for the future.
