One of my customized pens is a great way to reward yourself. It is a visible, tangible reminder of a task accomplished and a job well done. Every time you look at it, and every time you touch it or use it, you will remember what you did to deserve it.

It’s a great way to keep your spirits up and keep you motivated throughout the day or throughout a long project. You can use the pens as milestones rewards or as mnemonic devices that say the same thing softly, over and over. “You can do it, you can do it!”

Sounds a little corny, right? However, I know first hand how nothing ever feels so good or looks as fine as something that you’ve truly earned. It’s a bit of knowledge you’ll want to experience for yourself.

We’ve all heard about Pavlov’s dogs, right? They were animals that were trained to behave in a certain way as a response to either a positive or negative sensation. After a while, even thinking about the sensation was enough for them to generate a response.

People are the same way. We get trained by the things around us in our lives. Why not train ourselves to do more great things by using positive reinforcements, better known as rewards?

Create A Cycle Of Good
When you reward yourself after doing a good job, you are training yourself to do more good things. It may seem odd to be rewarding yourself, but let’s face it, the world doesn’t do a great job of recognizing special personal occasions. You need to take it upon yourself to create a cycle of good thoughts, deeds, and experiences in your life.

When you kick that smoking habit, get a pen. When you finally break through the plateau on your diet, get a pen. When you get the living room painted and finished at last, get a pen. Each one of them will remind you constantly of your achievement, and create a cycle of good thoughts, intentions, and actions in your life.
